Refficks

Calendly affiliate tracking with Refficks

Calendly bookings, tied to the partner whose link brought the person, so their later payment is credited to that partner.

Nobody has walked these steps against a real Calendly setup yet. They are built from the provider's documentation, listed at the bottom of this page.

What it gives you

  • Somebody who arrives through a partner's link and then books a call is tied to that partner. When they later pay, through any payment connection Refficks receives, the sale is credited to the partner who sent them.

What it does not

  • A booking on its own pays nobody: it is recorded as a lead, never as a new account, so it does not qualify a referral reward that waits for an account. A partner is paid when that person pays, and the payment has to reach Refficks from a connection that names the same email.
  • A visitor who has not accepted cookies, or whose browser sends Global Privacy Control, is not named.
  • Calendly passes event details only on its Standard plan and above. On the free plan nobody is named.
  • The booking has to end on your own page: a Calendly scheduler embedded on your site tells the page only that a booking happened, not who made it.

Steps

These are the steps as they read inside Refficks. Where one says “below”, it means this guide's page in Refficks, where your own script, addresses and checks are.

  1. 1. Put the Refficks script on every page

    Paste the snippet into the head of every page of your site, including the page people land on after booking.

    Your copy of the Refficks script, with your own key in it, is on the Integrations page in Refficks.

  2. 2. Send bookings to your thank-you page

    In Calendly, open the event type, choose Edit, then More options → Confirmation page. Under After booking, choose "Redirect to an external site", enter your thank-you page's address, and tick "Pass event details to your redirected page".

    Calendly offers this on its Standard plan and above.

  3. 3. Name the person on that page

    Paste the code below on the thank-you page, after the Refficks script and before any analytics. It reads the email Calendly passes, takes it and the other personal details back out of the address at once, and tells Refficks who booked.

    <script>
      (function () {
        var params = new URLSearchParams(location.search);
        var email = params.get("invitee_email");
        if (!email) return;
        [
          "invitee_email", "invitee_first_name", "invitee_last_name", "invitee_full_name",
          "text_reminder_number", "guests", "answer_1", "answer_2",
          "answer_3", "answer_4", "answer_5", "answer_6",
          "answer_7", "answer_8", "answer_9", "answer_10",
        ].forEach(function (name) { params.delete(name); });
        var rest = params.toString();
        history.replaceState(history.state, "", location.pathname + (rest ? "?" + rest : "") + location.hash);
        (function say(tries) {
          if (!window.refficks) return tries < 40 && setTimeout(function () { say(tries + 1); }, 250);
          window.refficks.lead({ email: email });
        })(0);
      })();
    </script>
  4. 4. Book a test call

    Open your site through any partner's link, copied from their page under Partners, and book a call. The checks on this guide in Refficks turn green as each part is seen.
