Refficks

Kajabi affiliate tracking with Refficks

Kajabi reports every payment to Refficks. Nothing it sends is signed, so each commission waits for your approval.

Nobody has walked these steps against a real Kajabi setup yet. They are built from the provider's documentation, listed at the bottom of this page.

What it gives you

  • Every payment on Kajabi (a first payment, each renewal, a cart order) is recorded as a sale. Whether a renewal pays depends on your plan: a one-time plan pays on a customer's first payment only.
  • A partner's code typed at Kajabi's checkout credits that partner.
  • A buyer your own site already knew is credited to the partner whose link brought them.

What it does not

  • Kajabi signs nothing it sends, so every sale is marked Unverified and its commission waits for someone to approve it, even on a plan that approves by itself.
  • Kajabi passes nothing on from a partner's link. A buyer who never typed a code and was never known to your site is credited to nobody.
  • Kajabi sends no refunds. When you refund a payment, reverse its commission by hand on the Commissions page.
  • Kajabi does not print what its settings webhook looks like, so it is read from Kajabi's list of its fields. One Refficks cannot read is refused and kept, not guessed at.

Steps

These are the steps as they read inside Refficks. Where one says “below”, it means this guide's page in Refficks, where your own script, addresses and checks are.

  1. 1. Connect Kajabi

Press Connect below to get your address. Then, in Kajabi, open Settings → Third Party Integrations and Webhooks → Webhooks, create a webhook for "Payment Succeeded", paste the address and save.

Payment Succeeded only: it reports first payments, every renewal and cart orders. "Purchase Created" and "Cart Purchase" report the same money again, and are kept but not counted.

If you use Kajabi's API instead, a payment_succeeded hook to the same address works too.

The connection is made on this guide in Refficks, once you have an account.

  2. 2. Give each partner their code in Kajabi

Create each partner's discount code as a coupon in Kajabi, spelt the same. A payment with that code is credited to that partner.

  3. 3. Put the Refficks script on your own site

And have it say who a visitor is when they sign up there. A buyer your site already knows by email is credited to the partner whose link brought them, even if they pay on Kajabi later.

Your copy of the Refficks script, with your own key in it, is on the Integrations page in Refficks.

  4. 4. Send a test

Press Send Test on the webhook in Kajabi. It arrives below as a sale waiting for approval: reject it.

Kajabi does not print what its webhook looks like. If Refficks cannot read it, the delivery says so and is kept exactly as it arrived. Send it to support.
